Hello Spring Term 1!!!
VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW TONIGHT IN THE FOX CENTER @9:30PM COME!!!!!
Last Wednesday the Fashion and Luxury Goods Club hosted a presentation on the retail industry and Tiffany & Co. Sterling Ingui, Associate Director of MMS Career Services and a Fuqua MBA alum, spoke to us about her career at Tiffany’s before coming to Fuqua. Sterling started at Tiffany’s as a summer sales professional, straight out of her undergraduate education at Columbia University in New York. While at Tiffany’s she attended the Gemological Institute of American (GIA) to get graduate degrees in Colored Stones and Diamonds. When Sterling left Tiffany’s to pursue her MBA at Fuqua, she was an assistant manager in category management.
Our entire club would like to thank Sterling for taking the time to come speak to us and provide us with such a fascinating insight into both Tiffany’s and the retail industry. Also, thank you to all the MMS students who attended!
Last week the Fashion and Luxury Goods Club held a movie night at the Lofts. Club members came and ate McDonald’s, chips and candy before viewing the documentary The September Issue in the Lofts movie theater. Thank you to all the members who came and a big thanks to most official Secretary Grace Kim and most official VP of Club Coordination Irina Tretyak for helping to set up the event. Also, thank you to most official Vice President Haley Spitz for supplying the sugar fix.
A few weeks ago we decorated our club bulletin board like a Tiffany box to represent our love for the luxury goods industry. Thank you to Haoming Chang for helping the executive board put together our beautiful board! Please make sure to check out our official club board the next time you are at Fuqua to get all the latest club news!
